Kandi's Flower Market has a wide selection of perennials, annuals, bedding plants, hanging baskets and vegetables. We take pride in the wide selection of new varieties we grow every year and all the old favorites too. Kandi's Flower Market grows many of its plants from seed while others are grown from cuttings. We value the ability to have grown almost everything right here on the farm.

We have a floral shop to design flower arrangements for all occassions. You can stop at our Graettinger location on main street in Graettinger or give us a call at 712-859-3597 or 712-298-2676. We can do funerals, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, new baby, prom/graduation or any time flowers would add something special to your occasion.

Tips for the Gardener

Raised Beds, Help for those Aching Backs Have you ever thought how much easier gardening would be if the plants were not quite so far down?? Well as funny as that sounds creating a raised bed can not only help your aching back but your plants as well. You can much easier condition your soil so your not limited to poor garden soil. The raised bed can also provide structure to which you can attach trellises and row covers, for a larger yield and extended growing season. Achieving a higher density of plants because you do not have to have walk ways results in larger harvest from a given area of land, a big plus. More control of the moisture and less weeding make raised beds more and more popular. So if you have never really thought about raised beds other than when your back hurts, here are all the practical reasons to put some in this year and see how much better you feel.
